1 Review = 1 Happy Cat
Buy Rope is going to support cats in need by donating to a cat shelter for every review we receive on our website, Facebook or Google.
We teamed up with Life4Cats Rescue a small charity helping abandoned and injured cats. For every written review received, we will donate £1, which is enough to feed a cat. If a review contains an image, we will donate £5, which will help cover the costs of blankets and heating as well.

About Life4Cats
This small rescue was set up to try to help and save injured cats, abandoned kittens, and offer them a chance to find a home. The organization specializes in severe cases to give a chance to the most vulnerable cats.
It was started and it is still managed by one person with a big heart who dedicated her time and energy to help and save the magnificent creature called cat.
This rescue was built to save cats who have been injured or abandoned. I started this rescue so full of hope, dedication, and sacrificed all my personal time and life for them!

2021 Updates
Peak kitten season starts in spring so the rescue’s main task at the moment is to take care of the newborn kittens arriving into their care. Currently they have in their care 30+ newborn kittens and they are expecting more to come. Kittens require a lot of resources and attention so all the funds collected are going for their support.
A member of our team found five abandoned kittens (around 5 days old) in a box. We called Ramona from Life4Cats Rescue and she picked them up right away. The kittens are so young they need to be bottle fed so the rescue now needs more support then ever.
Thanks to the support given and for the hard work in the shelter the kittens grew a lot since their arrival. As you can see their favorite activity is playing together. With the continuous support given we hope they can live a happy and full life.
2021 October 22nd
On October 22nd a tragedy occurred at Life4Cats Rescue center. One of the buildings at the shelter went up in flames and completely burned down. Luckily only two cats were injured, but the cost of the damage is very high. To support them in one of the most challenging times in the rescues history we are going to double the donations amount collected for reviews.

2023 Updates
2023 was Buy Rope’s third year of partnership with Life4Cats. During the first two years, we managed to raise £1452, which helped the rescue cover some essential expenses such as cat food and vet bills. We also doubled the monthly donation amount from October onward to the end of 2021, in order to help the charity recover from the fire damage. By continuing this partnership, we hope to support them in their goals of finishing the rebuilding of the rescue and continuously helping cats in need.
The new building is in full swing! The essential things for us and the animals are already sorted out which means the bathroom and a functional kitchen is ready to use. In addition, a storage room is being created and one room is already being used as an emergency quarantine.
Never would I have dared to hope that after the fire in 4 months time the shelter will be rebuilt.

2024 Updates
Marking the 4th year of our partnership, Buy Rope has vowed to continue supporting the cat rescue. Life4Cats, the only dedicated cat rescue in their area, is still facing significant financial challenges. Ramona Rusu, the founder, is working tirelessly to save every cat that comes into her care, but the costs of vet bills and other essentials are overwhelming.
Despite the hardships, Ramona’s dedication ensures that every cat receives the care it needs. Buy Rope remains committed to aiding Life4Cats, providing financial support to help cover these expenses. Through continued partnership and new fundraising efforts, we aim to help Life4Cats thrive and continue their mission of rescuing and rehoming vulnerable cats.
This Christmas, Life4Cats also received a delivery of over 20kg of wet food, special needs food, and some essential medication. While it’s just a small part of what they need, it will definitely make a big difference in helping care for the cats in their shelter.
2025 Updates
We are happy to start our fifth year of supporting Life4Cats Rescue, continuing helping abandoned and injured cats. Thanks to your reviews and donations in 2024, we’ve been able to provide essential care for these cats. In 2025, we’ll keep supporting Life4Cats as they continue their work, with more and more cats coming into Ramona’s care. She’s taking on even more challenging cases, but she’s as dedicated as ever to giving these cats the best chance at a better life.
