Will this rope rot?
Yes. All brown rope is natural fibers and all natural fibers will rot over time. All products on this page are 100% natural and 100% biodegradable.
They will swell when wet, degrade in the sun and rot over time. The rotting process can take years.
Can it support body weight?
Yes although they are not specialist climbing ropes. Some of the brown ropes such Manila and Sisal have been break load tested. They will take anything up to 9,00KG. Please refer to the break loads for each product which you will find published on the individual product page.
Can it be used for plant climbing
Yes. They are ideal for plant climbing.
