Is 10mm rope good for pulling large tree branches?
Yes, our customers often purchase 10mm diameter rope to drag tree branches. Obviously, this does depend on the size and weight of the branch.
Please take a look at the break load for each rope type to ensure that the branch you are planning to drag does not exceed the break load
If you need a higher break load please take a look at 12mm, or 14mm or select any larger diameter from this page .
Would this rope be good for holding a gate open?
Yes, it would very well for this job. 10mm rope would be easily strong enough for this task. It would probably be best to select a synthetic rope for the job instead of a natural fiber so that it doesn’t rot.
